Hi Bigguy,
This is a nice idea. Anyone likes to receive recognition of their efforts (that is why we are here isn’t it). While giving plaques isn’t exactly a new idea the one that you designed is far better than conventional one. This one is a work of art that should be proudly displayed just for its beauty alone.
Good idea.

Oooh, I want one (the machine). I have just shifted duties to a sign shop, and get to use a CNC set-up that cuts vinyl lettering and graphics from tractor-fed sheet stock. This machine would be a gas to operate and design for.
-- "Bordnerizing" perfectly good lumber for over a decade.
