I just delivered my latest commission Jewelry Box. The chest sides are made from a single Mahogany board that has been re saw, and re-joined in assembly to create a grain-wrap pattern at the corners. Solid Bird’s eye Maple, book-matched tops with Purpleheart boarder. The jewelry chest is 11: x 7” x 4 1/8”.

You did a really nice job on this one. Love the wood choices and the splines. Also like the mitered front on the drawer and don’t recall seeing that before. I may have to steal that!

Beautiful work Jake.
The detail in your craftsmanship is high.
And, I’m with Andy, I really like that mitered drawer front & corner.

Your choice of materials was superb.

Very well done. A lot of very nice work in this box! A lot of inspiration. Someone was smart to commission you to do this.

-- Robert, so much inspiration here, and now time to work!!!

Attractive box. Ditto on the mitered drawer. Well done.

Awesome. I too like the way you mitred the drawer. How did you do the lid? I like that
