I made one of these for my girlfriend – then found that lots of other people wanted them – the standard one is about14” tall, but I have made seven-tier ones which hold 136 pairs of earrings (about 36” tall).
The first picture is the original one that I made – the others are made from reclaimed mahogany (they used to be a set of drawers).

Nice work. Those will sell. Keep the idea as yours and run with it. Tell them you learned of an ancient technique and revived it. Should be good for a laugh. They’ll buy two.

These are nice!! I can see why they are in demand. What is not to like about them. They are a far cry better than simply tossing the earrings in a drawer and having to find the matching pair. You spaced the slots well. This spacing looks straight forward but it can be a challenge to get it done right.
