Well made, but aren’t bench dogs supposed to have bark?

Love the dogs. Did you make the cuts on a bandsaw?

I rigged up a jig on my chop saw to make te angled cut. Ripped the “spring leaf” to the width of the saw kerf and then just glued it in place. Relief cut for te spring was made with table saw, marking gauge and hand chisel
