First piece of furniture

This is the first piece of furniture I have ever constructed and it was a blast to work on.
I was able to find a custom sliding glass door company in the area that was selling off extra lumber. It was all rough cut 5/4 boards so I had my work cut out for me. The three woods were: santos mahogany, rustic maple, and birch. I am not sure how many hours I put into this piece but it was a really good learning experience for me. I spent 1/4 of my time correcting mistakes that could have been avoided with better planning but sometimes it takes learning the hard way.
Either way, I am happy to be able to present a finished piece of furniture on this website and hope to add more in the future.
Happy Easter

WOW! I’d be proud of this work if I’d been woodworking 50 years.
