I made this toolbox from dimensional lumber, which is not very flat, but somehow the dovetails worked out. I had a change of plans on the handle so it needed screws to attach it, but overall it worked out. It is a big toolbox for carrying the largest of hand planes.

Handy. What is the bottom made of? Did you dado it in?

Yes, I dado’ed the bottom in. It is made of the same pine material, all of which is 3/4” in thickness, so the thing is no light weight!

Sharp looking tool box. The dovetails look really nice.
