New Wood Entertainment center and Coffee Table

Most of our projects are built using reclaimed lumber, but sometimes we enjoy the challenge of doing something with new wood direct from the lumber mill. We were asked to design and build a matching entertainment center and coffee table for a condo near the beach in Florida. What we ended up with was a coffee table with fixed doors and plenty of storage for laptops and magazines and an entertainment center with operating front doors and a shelf to hold the TV box, DVD etc. Timid White paint from Benjamin Moore helps reflect the sun from the living room windows filling the room with light on a bright day. Although we love a challenge and will definitely do another project with new wood it is time get beak to using reclaimed wood with natural finishes.
