Our “grand-dog’ Kona needed to be put down last fall and I was commissioned to create a resting place for her cremains (ashes). I collected the most grainy scraps of oak, maple, cherry, mahogany, and walnut to come up with this one of a kind memorial.

That is beautiful. These projects are some of the most rewarding! I know everyone who loved Kona is pleased.

Very nice box Ted.
My sons dog died on the vet’s table and he elected to have her cremated. The plan was for me to build a memorial box….....but when he got the ashes…...the vet had provided a very nice looking box. I think I lucked out because there were a lot of tears shed and it would have been a hard job.

Have your say...
