Actually it is for my sister’s new last name as she just got married. It may be a simple piece, but made with a whole lotta love. It is made from maple, amakazone, paduak and butternut (underside). Measurements are 24” x 16.” Any and all comments welcome and thanks for looking.

Nice board and thanks for putting some Zepplin in my head.

SHe will love it because you made it. Did you inlay the paduak into the top or is it the thickness of the CB? I have never heard of “amakazone”. Could you tell us what it is. Thanks

thanks for your comments. amakazone is an african type of wood in the same species as bubinga—i had to look it up myself to be sure! the paduak acutally the thickness of the cutting board—i haven’t actually gotten that advanced to do inlay work yet.

Sorry it’s taken so long to make comment on this beautiful cutting board, Smoke … I like how you’ve made it so personalized. I’m sure each time your sister uses it, she’ll admire and appreciate the ‘whole lotta love’ that went into it’s making!!
