I just found out a friend of mine was just diagnosed with lymphoma. He just got done making a beautiful bar in his rec room, so I decided to make him a Cutting Board for the bar. I had some leftover pieces from my previous CB, so I quickly put together this CB. I have to admit, I was a little disturbed by this news and when I glued up the CB I messed up on the pattern. I decided to do it right and cut it on the table saw and flip it to the way it should be. I used Purpleheart, Hard Maple, Yellowheart, White Limba, Macawood, Goncalo Alves, and White Oak. It measures 10×12 x 1-1/2. Sealed with salad bowl finish, and finished with mineral oil/beeswax. I will be delivering it this weekend, and I hope it cheers him up.
