With another piece of olive, i keep it for a long time before deciding what it will be suitable for.
A place to empty my pockets !
I planed the bottom, the rim e the inside with a metal router bit, mounted on the drill press and moving the piece on the drill press platform.
The high number of teeth of the metal bit compensates for the slowness of the drill press, without kickbacking the piece.
On the outside i just removed the bark with gouge, then i carved the inside irregular borders by hand.
Finished with boat flatting.
Bye
