Here is another knife I made the handles (scales) for. The wood used is padauk. The handles are epoxied on with a quick curing epoxy mix. The finish is about 4 coats of a water based polyacrylic hand buffed to a shine.
The blade was purchased from the woodcraft store.

I like it a lot. I have been meaning to try my hand at knife making.
