I posted it in my blog, but wanted to start posting these to the projects as well. Another experiment that turned into a box. I am still trying things with inlay and this is my first attempt at a checker design and I turned that into a box lid.

I used paduak (my all-around favorite wood) and cherry (a close second)

Good work. The two woods do look good together. I like to see patterned tops.
