This CB is made from purpleheart, yellowheart, macawood, white limba, and hard maple. It measures 12×18 x 1-1/2 thk and sealed with salad bowl finish and finished with mineral oil/beeswax. The hard maple is from a find in a barn in New Hampshire. It was a pullout breadboard in a kitchen cabinet that I was told was made by the farmer who lived there about 70 years ago. After planing and cutting, the wood was giving up the wonderful tight grain from woods of the past, so I decided to incorperate it into this board. My plan is to build up my inventory again. I will be driving up to Greenfield lumber mill next week to replenish my wood stock with some stunning colors and grains. Thanks for looking.

Hey Don, you’re back in the saddle now.
Nice board. I like the double reversed strip – adds interest.

Very nice design. I like the color change from the outside to the middle then back again.
