This is the first hat I have ever turned, made up from two solid pieces of cedar and 72 pieces of she oak of open segmented between to work as ventilator. It is about 8mm in thickness all around. I am very happy with the result, so is my daughter, Ashley.
Hoping she does not steal my show.
Wait for few days for the second hat.

I agree with Erwin, but your daughter looks like she’s grinning…that probably means more projects for daughter…I’m broke out in daughters and their daddy do list in the workshop seems to have no ending :-)

With that smile Ashley did “steal your show”. But that is a good thing. Nice hat as well.

Very NICE Sam…

The hat is too!

How do you know it’s the right size, etc.?

Beautiful lady modelling a wonderful Easter bonnet, and you finished it in plenty of time for Easter. Thank
you once again for proving all things are possible.

Hey, hey, hey its Billybonkers! I cannot possibly express enough how uncomfortable that hat looks , this would make a much better helmet. Seriously. As Billybonkers likes to say: nematodes are people to.

Anybody saw Billybonkers wooden ship? Without any doubt he deserved the Daily Top 3 and only for him or her, it should be changed into ( DAILY TOP ONE ) for his titanic madness.
