I mentioned that I do a lot of small projects – here is another.
I found this in some woodworking magazine I was reading and, since I use a lot of wax paper when gluing and finishing, I built one. Very easy construction 4 pieces of stock (I used 1/2” plywood – luan, I think), 1” dowel, and a couple of hitch pins.
I have found this very convenient to have in the shop!

Hi Jim,
This is a very useful project. It sure beats simply throwing the wax paper in a cabinet like I do. I may have to look into this.

Thanks Jim for posting that. It is exactly what I need. Usually I just tear off a piece and the roll is just in my way. This is a great and simple idea.

That’s pretty cool. I think I’ll make a double roll one and add a roll of aluminum foil.

You could fasten a hacksaw blade to the front edge of the holder and take the roll out of the box.

A very simple paper dispenser nicely worked out. It can be used for tissue paper and aluminum foil as well. The idea of fixing haxsaw blade as suggested by rikkor is very practical.
