This is a Art Box I am donating to a local School funraiser, The main box is Black Walnut with Cherry & Bloodwood splines. The lid is Cherry with a Bloodwood medallion & handle. The inside divider is also Cherry. Finish is Deft lacquer from an aeresol can. I am excited to see what kind of $ it will generate @ the fundraiser….........Jack

Jack, is there anywhere you have your techniques posted? I am very interested in how you get to such a fine piece of work.

Beautiful job. Love the way you’ve done the inside partition. Unique to say the least.

That has got to be one of the nicest boxes ever posted on this site! It is perfect with great wood combination, great joinery, and a perfect finish. Looks priceless to me. Hope someone else appreciates it enough to cough up a LARGE donation.
