Cupcake Display

A friend wanted to use a small (about 6” cake “topper”) and a bunch of cupcakes for a wedding reception. She asked me to make three boxes decreasing in size to decorate and set the cake on top.

The top box is 8×8”, middle 16×16” and bottom 24×24”. It was made from 1/4” oak ply with brad nails and TBIII glue. She wrapped it up for decorative purposes. Took about 1 1/2 hours and $18 in wood. The dollar bills were for a size reference in the initial picture.
