My only comment… have the grains all opposite each other .. apart from that… I like it… very subtle…

Interesting concept. I agree with Goose, But this s cleaver using all the same wood ( zebra) ? and swtching up the grain direction. Great job, and well done.

I disagree with goose, it is what it is- I was not looking for an eyepoping vivid contrast. Goose don’t like it because I didn’t do it his way.

Wonderful idea same wood different direction. Is wood oak? Large grain lines? open pores?

The average person would love it. You are too critical of your work..When you offer it as a door prize, don’t even mention that there is anything wrong with the way you made it. I’m just trying to figure out how you made it?
