Nice variety of woods and very functional looking. I like the spoons particularly.

Nice designs.
Do you think “red” oak is a little to porous for use with food or did you somehow seal the pores?

None of these spoons were actually “treated”. I simply doused em in olive oil after the final sanding. As for the red oak’s porousity, time and mileage will tell.

Are these all just freehanded on a band or scroll saw? I’ve done a half dozen or so like that. Very satisfying.

These were all made with mallet, chisels, gouges, scrapers, and sandpaper :)
