This is a vanity unit that I made as a gift for my parents, the ceder wood I used to make this unit comes from trees that I had to cut down for a development that was going to be build on that property, It was very sad to cut down these particular tress as they were roughly 120 years old at the time and were very majestic in there natural form. I had to cut down 12 trees in total and i still have about 6 cubes of timber left. It is called ‘Pencil ceder’ in south africa, The grain pattern on this timber is very beautiful.

Nice. I lined a linen closet in my bathroom with aromatic cedar. I wish I would have thought about using it for the vanity I built.
