Hi all, after six months of being without my left arm, the surgery I had has me back to normal. I just got back in the shop and decided to make something simple to ease back into the woodworking. I made a breadboard for my sisters birthday this week. I took sunken cypress and put bolivian rosewood on the ends and bubinga on the sides. I used maple dowels for decoration. Finished with salad bowl finish to seal and mineral oil/beeswax.

Welcome back.
I see you have not lost the skills. Looks great.

Sunken Cypress – Cool. I bet there is a story behind that.

Looks like you’re back with a vengence. Nice board and I love the sinker cypress. Work safe and stay healthy.
