This handsome fellow is carved from two pieces of basswood…..the head and the body, then painted with acrylics, then finished with several coats satin varnish. He sees with glass eyes. He measures about 10” or 11” long x about 6” high. Lots of meticulous detail involved. One of the prettiest.
THANKS FOR COMING TO MY GALLERY !

Hi Dave,
I am running out of compliments for these works. It feels like I am saying the same thing over and over. How about my just saying ditto and you will know that I am saying that this one is a gorgeous carving. :)
Nicely done Dave.
Keep ‘em coming.

Nothing new here as far as I can tell. Except perhaps that it doesn’t come with a pricetag.
