This is an old X-ray of my dads that has glass either side to let in light and bordered by some reclaimed barn wood. Note the 2 hip replacement inserts.

First x-ray I have seen in a frame. But a nice frame it is! Love the reclaimed wood.

Obviously different techniques used on the earlier and later inserts.
Looks like the reclaimed wood had its own inserts! LOL

Nice rustic look of the frame. Goes to show that reclaimed wood can add character to a project. But you might want to watch where you place it, It’s my understanding that the sun light can start fading x-rays. I could be though.

Great frame! Just a little FYI for you though, looking at that x-ray it appears that it is film and is not a digital or computed x-ray, sun will effect this image and eventually fade it and turn it brown. (I take x-rays to supplement my wood working addiction) You could make a lighted box (AKA “Viewbox”) and only turn it on for viewing for a longer life.
Just don’t want your hard work to fade on you!
