First x-ray I have seen in a frame. But a nice frame it is! Love the reclaimed wood.

Obviously different techniques used on the earlier and later inserts.
Looks like the reclaimed wood had its own inserts! LOL

Nice rustic look of the frame. Goes to show that reclaimed wood can add character to a project.
But you might want to watch where you place it, It’s my understanding that the sun light can start fading x-rays. I could be though.

Think I need to put my picture of my haywire they used in my two open heart operations to hold me together. Nice frame and hope he has a speddy recovery.

Great frame! Just a little FYI for you though, looking at that x-ray it appears that it is film and is not a digital or computed x-ray, sun will effect this image and eventually fade it and turn it brown. (I take x-rays to supplement my wood working addiction) You could make a lighted box (AKA “Viewbox”) and only turn it on for viewing for a longer life.
Just don’t want your hard work to fade on you!

This is a new function of X-rays films :-) I´ve seen many of hipreplacement pictures as a PT
