Pie Cabinet

This was a old run down pie cabinet that was found in the basement of an old house about ready to fall down. My cousin dragged it out and washed it down with a hose because of all the mouse crap found inside. After a good washing she found out that it was in horrible condition and had about four layers of paint on it so she contacted me. Needless to say we kept the doors and the carcass for the most part and that was about it and i built the rest. Not perfect by anymeans but that is the beauty in old furniture! Also sorry about the pictures it was taken with my cell phone which aren’t the greatest. (never thought i would have people looking at my stuff online)

A little TLC goes a long way on a lot of things. Looks like a really nice job. Welcome to LJ’s.

nice restoration. I love these old cabinets. Yours is very much like the cherry one I built and posted here a couple of years ago.

Thanks everyone I like to build new projects but people always seem to need repairs done.
