This is an indian I found online and wanted to try to make. I used the program Inkscape and made an intarsia pattern out of the picture. It took about 4 hrs to complete the pattern. It has alot of pieces and the feathers were a big challenge due to the face that I had 1 inch think wood but the red, it was a quarter inch think so I had to figure out a good way to make that work. Over all I am very happy with the way this piece turned out, thanks

For some strange reason your pictures came out minuscule when clicking on the Zoom button.

Sorry about that the camera was bad. I fixed the pictures so you can see the project.

You keep getting better with every project you do. I really like this one. Keep up the great work!! What kind of wood is the face and arm, it really worked out well??

The face and arms is Spanish Cedar. Its one of my favorite woods and I think it worked out well for tan skin.

It looks really nice and I’ll bet that you really enjoyed it.
