Walnut box 11.5’’ x 6’’ x 3.75’’, mitered w/ walnut splines. I found a piece of walnut that I though was interesting and used it for the lid panel. I used basic brass plated hinges.

This was my first time using danish oil and wax. I used Watco oil and Minwax paste wax. I am very pleased with the result of the danish oil.

It looks good to me. The round over on the corners is nice and the top piece of wood adds interest to the box.

Very nice. I like the whole look of it. Its rustic and rugged looking while at the same time …elegant.

It’s got an “old world” look to it. Great job.

Very nice box. Your choice for the lid panel was a good one.
