Hickory Potting Shed No-picture-s No-picture-s Click the pictures to enlarge them

I made this 4×8 Garden shed with help from family members for my in-laws. The siding is made of hickory cutoffs. I got them from a local mill for $25.00 a truckload. Along with this shed, I made a couple of shooting houses on the same design. On one end there is a folding potting table also made of hickory. The wood was worked green. The siding is treated with a water sealer after a couple of months.

Terry,

This is a nice project but I am not sure I could get anything done there. To me this is just crying for an adirondack chair beside it with a book (one of David Stowe’s about box making of course) to read and enjoy the view.

Thanks for the post.

I’m with Scott. And a little table to hold your graph paper and pencil with incra ruler.

Must be nice to live out in the country!

The shed looks great, but tell the truth…... it’s really your outhouse, right? <g>

No, contrary to popular belief, we do have indoor plumbing in Lower Alabama. It does look like an out house doesn’t it?

That is a nice view, and the shed doesn’t hurt the view at all, in my opinion.

Roz, I was going to ask if your lead line was a typo and that it should have read “Hickory Potty Shed”, glad to hear that the sewer line does indeed run to the house.

Nice work, happy plants are healthy plants.

No, Diggrduggr, It is a potting shed not a potty shed. But It is large enough to make a nice two holer.
