12×33 case for hanging necklaces. The case is oil stained cherry sapwood under NC lacquer. The raised panel is a piece of beech that’s twisted in both directions, held in contoured rebates with brass pins, finished with tung oil under NC lacquer. The panel is finished with copper pearl on the inside. The case is backed with cloth and studded with drawer pulls as hangers. It hangs from a recessed french cleat.

Thanks for looking.

That is nice looking. Not sure about the open space at the top. The wood is really nice and the inside design is nice. Could you have put a 2 sided piece of mirror in the space at the top? Not trying to be too critical. I do like the natural edge. I bet somebody is going to be happy to get this.

It’s beautiful and a real nice conversation piece.

Clint,

I enjoy watching where you are going in your creative experience. Sometimes I say Hugh? Sometimes Wow! To me this is a wow piece. Wabi-Sabi!

Really like this. A necklace cabinet is my next project after I finish my workbench. My plan is somerthing understated, organic and proportioned using the golden mean. Much likeyours.
