this was the final project of my second semester in college. i applied 1/4” maple strips to the gables to give the illusion of a thicker, more ornate panel. added some small chair rail moulding cut down ties in with the doors, and to hide edge of 1/4 particle core

i actually made a mistake on the sizing of the doors, and there was a 6 cm gap between them, which i filled with a fluted piece of maple.

i received a decent mark on this, although i was not happy with finished product.

You should be happy with it, it looks great. I like the fluting, nice touch.
