This is my son’s cigar box guitar that I made him. I used a Cohiba box with Morado and birdseye maple for the neck. It has a piezo pickup as well as a Ted Crocker pickup in the middle. The box was orginally maple color but I had to strip it down and stain it burgandy. I airbrush a sunburst and finished it with brass corners painted bronze. As you can see he is an Aggie at Texas A&M.

Great CBG!! Love the stars and ATM! Tailpiece is really sweet! Is that a bone bridge? Does he play it ‘slide style’ or does he fret it?

He frets it. The bridge and nut is deer antler.
