Sandpaper Storage

I am quite possibly the most disorganized person I know and I really don’t like sanding. So in an effort to ease the burden of both I built this storage rack. There are a couple of shelves and some drawers for storage. The sandpaper trays pull out. It was this project that I realized my table saw had alignment issues (Craftsman 21833) and it was time to get another one. Cutting the joinery for the cabinet and drawers was off. Not in any one particular place but the entire thing. I think this is going to work well for its intended purpose. It is plywood with a pine face. I haven’t decided about the drawer pulls. I made the first couple out of a dowel that I took to a sander but they are a little too big. Thanks for looking.

Nicely done, I am just as disorganized and also hate sanding, maybe I need to follow your lead, thanks for posting.

Oh come on, my pile of sandpaper on a shelf is just fine and is about as organized as I can manage! (Heh heh)

Seriously, that is a great idea. Now I have to add THIS one to the list. Gonna go knock out that pile of sandpaper. Thanks for the inspiration!

Could you post some more close-up pictures of the way you organized them? I’m not kidding when I say that I need to do something like this…
