Project Information

I have had this idea for a while now and I have read, searched, and googled but could not find an example of a wooden one anywhere. It took me a while to get this figured out and working but I finally got it done.

I cut a chunk off of a cedar log to a workable piece measuring 3 1/2'' x 2 3/4'' x 12'' and then 45'd the middle out and glued it into an "L". It's finished with Howards Feed- n - Wax and buffed. Left the inside unfinished. I may attach a lid lift in the front 90 degree corner.
I would appreciate any info on other examples of this type of corner "wooden" hinge if anyone has any experience with them. Thanks for looking.

Wish I did. But that's begging to be used in secret compartments. :)

I'm just not seeing the mechanism. Maybe it is too early in the morning. Maybe a picture of the back of the box while opened and closed would help? Maybe I just need a visit to the optometrist?
