I was just dinking around in the shop and built these two boxes. At first I did not know what to do with them. Realized my grand daughters birthday was coming up in a few weeks, so they became friendship boxes. The story I’m told is you give one box to your friend and keep one. You put mementos, pictures….things that would remind your friend of you. Your friend does the same thing. Then you exchange boxes. Sounds corny I know but I am assured this is very cool among the 13 year old girl set. So I am sure she will like them.
Yep they are pallet wood with 1/4” ply. One just got Tung oil and the other got a little stain and some tung. They are simple to build, I imagine a guy could plop out a dozen a day.
Thanks for looking.
