For 30 years I kept our tax copies in a plastic file box. When I finished 2011 and went to place it in the “Blue Box” it just kind of exploded.
I built this guy, just a simple frame and panel box with 1/4” ply sides. It also got a few coats of Watco. I don’t know how many yeasr of back taxes you are supposed to keep but there are nine in there.
We also keep marriage license, birth certificates and passports in here as well. It is 11 1/2”h 16”L and 8” deep.
I hope it lasts as long as the plastic one did,

You did a great job on this. I love the rustic but durable look the box has. It looks like it will last a long time. Nice work!
