These were fun to make,

Thie first is a Zebra Wood (top/btm) with Purple Heart Sides.
The top slides in and is supposed to be hard to see. Mine is ok,
The top and bottom needed a little stain to bring out the wood so I
used a Dark Walnut stain, and several light coats until I got what I was looking for.

The second is all Zebra Wood with no stain. Just wipe on Poly.

Both nice! I think that first lid would disappear if the woods were the same. Very sweet boxes.

Man I love that tigerwood. Nice boxes and a good job on the tigerwood box hinges.
