This is my second attempt at carving ,but he first go at letters. Not quite up to the standard of many of the carvers on here but i will keep practicing.
It is made for one of the great granddaughters, left unfinished so as they can paint or just varnish to suit themselves.
Made from unknown wood but I think it could be mahogany

Very nice carving diggerdelaney. Looks like mahogany to me as well.

Hi Derek, from where I am sitting, that looks like a pretty carving. The letters look very crisp and Mickey looks as good as ever. I’m sure your great Granddaughter will enjoy it.
