I wwas surfing the net and came across my family crest and thought that would make a great carving. After 30 hrs, my magic time here it is. I couldn’t stop looking at it after it was finished. I’m very happy with the results. I showed my grandmother the carving and she liked it so much, it now hers.

Great carving. The leaves and other details are great. Carving is a skill I am still working on and I have thought about trying a family crest. Thanks for sharing your excellent work and some further inspiration.

Wow. Very cool idea. I have a needlepoint version of mine that has been handed down. This is something to aspire to.
