Love pallet projects, and that mallet came out great. I’ve been recycling pallets for years, it nice to see the beat up rough sawn wood, get a face lift and a new destination :-)

Nice, rustic look! Is that a through dowel to hold the handle in place?

Nice mallet!
Funny, I was just talking to a friend yesterday (as I was helping him stack wood on a few pallets) about trying some pallet projects. Never thought about a mallet – but seeing as I don’t have a mallet, I might just give this a try.
Question though – can you give its dimensions? it’s hard to tell from the picture how large it is. Thanks!

Thanks for the comments. My bad for not including something to reference the size.
The holes and nail stains are from its previous life.
I don’t have it in front of me but the top is about 3×5 with a 1 inch square handle. I can’t remember why I put a dowel through the head, I think it helped with the glue up. I have since put a leather pad on one face.
