This is my old friend, Mr Stealth pen. This is the very first one I made and I have been using it for months.
Originally it had some kingwood and a rubber gripper. The wood split at the end, because it was 2 pieces glued together and never was quite lined up right at the ends(due to an off center mandrel).
So, I took it apart, I think this is the 5th time I have worked on this pen, and skinned off the wood.
Reworked it with some zebrawood and green poly rings. Something different anyway. I wan’t sure how the green rings would look but it turned out OK.
I figure as long as the finish is holding up well enough then it is worth another re-work.

That’s a nice looking pen, the zebra wood gives this a lot of character.
