What possesses anyone to spray rosewood in a colored lacquer finish? This round veneered rosewood table was salvaged from a flood and restored to far better than its original condition.

Now boasting nothing more than a Waterlox Original finish – no stain on the top (we did stain the cherry base to darken it a bit) ... the natural wood jumps out. Not to mention now the finish is renewable – no more clouded yellowed lacquer!!

Not as complex as some of our restoration projects, not as big – but one where the before/after is strikingly different. Sometimes these are the most gratifying!

Nice save. That grain is spectacular.

The grain seems too perfect to be true. Great work!

Nice rehab, what a difference when it’s done correctly.
