Cherry/Oak Tea Box

I made this for my mother for her birthday. She loves tea!

I ran out of scrap cherry so that’s why the top is oak and cherry. I think it looks pretty cool though! The dividers came from some leftover copper for a fridge water supply line. I like the way all the colors go together.

The bottom is dadoed and the sides are just mitered and glued. I made the pull with my router. Then i finished it off with some danish oil.

I really like the different woods and the clever use of the copper. This sure is a fine gift.

Nice work there. I made a tea and sugar holder for my wife and she loves it. Love the wood choice.
