Very nice, looks perfect for this nice weather. Did you use a plan or how did you figure out the curve profile?

Geat looking bench swing.How about some pics on houw the hardwares goes on the swing?I have built my bench swing but I am debating on how the hardware should go on it.

That’s a nice swing, I need to try something like this for me and my better half.

Great looking porch swing. How long is it? Looks big.
hhhopks; I just yesterday had to replace some hardware for a porch swing I built last May. I used 1/2” x 6” J hooks that the chain fit tight on. The swinging motion caused one of the J hooks to snap into at the last thread on the hook. No one was hurt and the swing wasn’t damaged but I learned that the chain needs to pivot freely at the hook connection.

the swing is a 6ft. & it has 4- 3” supports underneath , so my big frends can set in it.

Hey lumberjocks, I don”t have any plans! I just go by memory. I’ve made so many of them that I know how each one is made.
