This is a Crib that I built for my daughter. It is a convertible crib that converts to a toddler bed and then into a headboard for a full size bed. The lumber is Ambrosia Cherry, which is actually Ambrosia Maple that has been processed to give a pinkish color. It has a coat of Minwax Red Mahogany stain to match the rest of her furniture. I know that in the picture you can’t see the dark ambrosia streaks, but in real life they look fantastic. The finish was sprayed on with a coat of lacquer based sanding sealer from Sherwin Williams followed by 3 coats of Sherwin Williams Pre-Catalyzed Lacquer in a medium rubbed sheen.

Great Job, you have one lucky little girl.
Welcome to LJ’s, we’re all a little off but that’s what makes it interesting, ;-D
