Made this box a few days ago and finished it today. The sides are Walnut and the top and inside bottom is Canary Wood. I really like this wood allot have build many things with it.

Nice color combination. I liked the splines. To my eye smaller boxes look better with sides about 5/8. I liked the finger lift. You might consider an indent beneath the lift that would let you down size the projection a bit.

Nice one Dennis. the two woods do look good together. It also looks kind of rugged. Good suggestions from boxguy.
