This is a small linen press I made for my daughter. It was supposed to be just shelves to put in a closet, but I wanted to try my hand at making a 4 piece veneer top and making a base. I cheated and purchased the moldings as I don’t have the router bits (yet). It’s made from 3/4” birch ply (US not chinese) and poplar. If I had it to do again, I would use a harder wood for the face frame. The poplar is so easily bruised. Assembled using a Craig jig. It needs a door to be a proper linen press, but she wants it as is. Oh well I’ll have to practice making a door for another project.
Next project— Cherry veneer TV console with solid Cherry top for my flat screen!
Thanks for looking,
