Table after restoration

This is what the table looked like after I finished restoring it. I have listed below some of the things that I did.

-Took everything apart
-Removed all the mold that was on the bottom of the table top
-Stripped and sanded every piece
-Fabricated and installed a dovetail box in place of the rails in order to raise the table top 2”
-Repaired all rotted wood and cracks
-Removed all the wood putty from the hundreds of worm holes, knots and wood grain on the table top (that was not a fun process)
-Finished everything with Danish Oil
-Reassembled then polished with a buffing wheel

I wouldn’t have know it was a restore job if you hadn’t told me.

Thanks and yes, the customer said it had been in their family for at least 70 years.
