Hey Guys,
Here is the inside of the box that you guys wanted to see, plus a couple pictures of the box before it was finished. Sorry about the picture quality I’m not the best photographer. The pictures of the box completed were taken by a friend and I don’t believe she took pictures of the inside.

Kenneth,
Thanks for the follow up post. It is nice to see a project from different angles and views. Sometimes 3 pictures just aren’t enough to fully showcase a piece.

well worth looking at – I love the line of the edge. I was expecting straight edges with just the lines of the leaves on the lid area. Very cool

That looks awesome. how did you carve under the leaves?

That is some beautiful carving. I really wish I could do that. I love how you carved around a box like that. Excellent job.

Thanks you to all of you for all of your encouragement.
Romansfivefive,
To answer your question I used a knife and gouge to scoop out the wood and depending on how deep or if it was a difficult angle I used a rotary tool. At that time I was using a Dremel but I burned through two of those, I now use a Rotozip. If you have any other question let me know.
Thanks.
