Apricot Wormhole Bowl

Okay, I don’t know for sure if this is apricot wood. This was a 160 lb mass of trunk and roots out of which I was able to turn this one 12” diameter bowl (6 1/2” height). I fed the cracks with CA during the turning process. Buffing and lacquer finish followed the next day. I couldn’t believe that I was able to cut and yet keep it all together. My wife didn’t want it in the house; worms were crawling out of the holes on day one. Much fun making this one.
