Just a little something I whipped up to keep the cats entertained during rainy weather.
Made of local cedar, no finish because I want it to silver as it ages. I glued and nailed it together Gorilla wood glue and 18 gauge 5/8” nails.
I can put about a pound of sun flower seeds in it without much problem, and it hangs outside our front window on a Loblolly pine.

I love the look of cedar. Very nice. The birds need a little help this year. Wasn’t enough moisture in my area to grow weed or any plants for seeds for the birds. I began feeding last July.
Nice job on your feeder. You will enjoy it for years. Birds will enjoy you enjoying it too.

Great project, dual purpose the best kind.
I can see where your cats will enjoy this new toy.
